'Portraits' Show at the NBM
I finally had a chance to stop by the New Brunswick Museum to view the 'Portraits: New Brunswick Painters' exhibit. Such a great show. It features thirty photographs of local artists by James Wilson and a group showing with contributions from each artist. I like group shows to begin with - but this one packs large works from the best of the best all in one space. And who says Saint John/New Brunswick doesn't have a strong arts base - come to the NBM and be re(in)formed.
Personal favourites from the show: Suzanne Hill, Paul Mathieson and Gerry Collins. As always. Go Saint John.
The show comes down January 3rd. Plus the Museum has free admission today and tomorrow.
